Philanthropist, PEP Real Estate owner and President of Tribeca Records John Pasquale made his acting debut in the new horror flick unleashed on December 3, 2024 by UNCORK’D Entertainment. The movie is directed by Jim Towns and stars Sadie Katz (who also produced and co-wrote the film), Laureen Landon (Maniac Cop, Airplane) and Vernon Wells (Commando, Mad Max). Pasquale also debuted as Executive Producer along with Mario Reyes, Jimmy Star & Eileen Beth Shapiro. The music was written and performed by the legendary composer Randy Edelman.
This first ever self-exorcism themed thriller follows Anne (Sadie Katz) as she struggles to escape her fate when possessed by a family inherited demonic entity while also trying desperately to protect her young son from the same destiny. She seeks advice from an ex-Priest with a dark and detestable secret, a Reiki practitioner and a psychologist who all dismiss her plight, so she is forced to take matters into her own hands.
Pasquale played the role of Tom, a transient, a drifter and the motel manager where Anne escaped until she could figure it all out. As an actor this was Pasquale’s debut performance which added spark and even comic relief to the otherwise hair-raising film. He was aloof, matter-of-fact and everything an ephemeral should be. Although focusing upon an acting career later in life, Pasquale seems to have great potential for a long career within the film industry. As mentioned before, it was also his first successful hand in the executive producing atmosphere although through his foundation Let Me Help, Inc. he has had great success producing music events for charity.
The cast also included Anthony Preston, Danelle Von Visger, Kim Marie Austin, Denise Milfort, Victoria De Mare, Ben Stobber, Pressly James Crosby, and Ron Russell. Additionally, Randy Edelman, renowned for his iconic scores in films including The Mask, The Mummy 3, and Anaconda joined The Beast Inside as the composer, bringing his legendary touch to the horror thriller. With decades of experience, crafting unforgettable, soundscapes, Edelman‘s involvement elevated the films, emotional and atmospheric intensity.
