First Trailer for Horror Comedy Asks – Who Would You ‘F Marry Kill’?

“I think I’m dating the killer.” Or are you?! Lionsgate has revealed the official trailer for a horror comedy movie called F Marry Kill, based on the party game “F**k? Marry? Kill?” Where you choose which of these things you would do with three people. From BuzzFeed Studios (they still exist?). When true-crime junkie Eva Vaugh is shoved into the dating app world by her besties on her 30th, she suddenly finds herself at the center of a real murder case. As new details about the local murders are revealed on her favorite podcast, she realizes that one of the three men she’s dating could be the infamous “Swipe Right Killer” terrorizing the city of Boulder! Now it’s up to Eva and her ride-or-die friends to figure out which date is a f-boy, a potential husband, or a murderer. Ha ha. Starring Lucy Hale as Eva, Virginia Gardner, Brooke Nevin, Samer Salem, Jedidiah Goodacre, Brendan Morgan, Bethany Brown, & JayR Tinaco. This is trying so hard to be clever and fresh but it just doesn’t look great. A weak concept despite based on this popular game.

F Marry Kill is directed by American filmmaker Laura Murphy, making her first real feature after the TV movie Cursed Friends, tons of short films, and episodes of the “Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens” series. The screenplay is written by Ivan Diaz and Dan Scheinkman and Meghan Brown. It’s produced by Richard Alan Reid, Michael Philip, Jason Moring. Lionsgate will debut Murphy’s F Marry Kill movie in select US theaters + on VOD starting December 6th, 2024 coming soon. Anyone want to watch?
