‘Squid Game’ Season 3 Set for Premiere THIS Summer

Netflix has kicked off the morning with a unique preview of their upcoming 2025 slate of new releases, with the streamer also announcing that the third and final season of smash hit series “Squid Game” is coming along a lot sooner than you were probably expecting.

“Squid Game” Season 3 premieres on June 27, 2025!

Picking up where the second season left off, “Squid Game” Season 3 is set to explore the choices Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) will make amidst overwhelming despair.

As the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) plots his next move, the surviving players find their decisions leading to increasingly dire consequences with each round of the games. This season promises to push the limits of suspense and drama, keeping viewers glued to the action.

Additionally, Netflix’s “You’re Not Ready” preview video this morning confirms that a handful of other genre projects are on the way this year, including the return of Jenna Ortega as a gloomy pop culture icon in “Wednesday” Season 2, and our final trip back to Hawkins, Indiana in “Stranger Things 5,” which is indeed being billed as the final season of the main series.

As for new genre movies coming to Netflix in 2025, the big one is Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, which doesn’t yet have a release date. Stay tuned for much more on that.
