Following its four Academy Award nominations, Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu will be available for exclusive streaming on Peacock starting February 21. Viewers can enjoy both the 132-minute theatrical cut and the 136-minute extended cut, as well as a behind-the-scenes featurette titled Nosferatu: An Inside Look.
Peacock also offers a variety of other vampire films including Werner Herzog’s Nosferatu the Vampyre, Dan Curtis’ Dracula, Dracula’s Widow, Count Dracula’s Greatest Love, The Carmilla Movie, Carmilla, Stake Land, Stake Land II, and The Reflecting Skin.
A reimagining of F.W. Murnau’s 1922 silent horror classic, Nosferatu is a gothic tale centered on the obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire who becomes infatuated with her, leaving untold horror in its wake.
Bill Skarsgård stars as Count Orlok, alongside Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, and Willem Dafoe.
Megan Navarro’s 5-skull review praises, “It’s so impeccably crafted, boasting production design and values rarely seen in horror, without sacrificing the taboo-pushing, visceral horror in the process. It’s operatic and dramatic, bold and revolting, with a powerful final shot for the ages.”
As Eggers’ highest-grossing film with $156.3 million worldwide, Nosferatu is Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and has secured the top spot on Bloody Disgusting’s Top 15 Best Horror Movies of 2024.
The film is now available on Digital and will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on February 18 by Universal.
