“Death runs in the family.” ☠ Warner Bros / New Line Cinema have unveiled the first teaser trailer for a horror sequel arriving this summer Final Destination: Bloodlines, hitting theaters in May in just a few months. Including in IMAX in addition to theaters worldwide. “If you screw with Death’s plans, things can get very… messy.” From co-directors Zach Lipovsky & Adam Stein (of Freaks) comes this reinvention of the Final Destination series, a prequel exploring the origins of “Death’s twisted sense of justice.” This is the 6th movie in the FD series so far. In the 1960s, a grandmother predicts the collapse of a building and saves a group of people from death. Decades later, her granddaughter also begins to have visions of the death of her family members and later begins to realize that there is a sequence. Starring Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and Tony Todd. With DP Christian Sebaldt. This teaser only shows one of the kills, perhaps one of the first in the movie, involving a tattoo artist who gets chained up. Brutal! This and The Monkey go hand-in-hand.

The newest chapter in New Line Cinema’s bloody successful franchise takes audiences back to the very beginning of Death’s twisted sense of justice—Final Destination Bloodlines. Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all. Final Destination: Bloodlines is co-directed by genre filmmakers Zach Lipovsky (also of Leprechaun: Origins) and Adam Stein, both directors of the movie Freaks previously, and episodes of “Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock” and “Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion” most recently, plus other short films. The screenplay is written by Guy Busick & Lori Evans Taylor; story by Jon Watts and Guy Busick & Lori Evans Taylor. Based on characters created by Jeffrey Reddick. Produced by Craig Perry, Sheila Hanahan Taylor, Jon Watts, Dianne McGunigle, and Toby Emmerich. Warner Bros will release Lipovsky & Stein’s Final Destination: Bloodlines movie in theaters worldwide starting May 16th, 2025 this summer movie season. First impression? Ready for this?
